So, I have some good news. Duane is going to the Game Developers Conference (from here out will be referred to as the GDC) in San Francisco in March. And he's been kind enough to invite me along. And, if I'm of sound body, because I am infrequently of sound mind, I'll be travelling down there to meet him.

Right now I'm not completely sure that I'll be well enough to travel. But honestly? I need to get the hell out of this house! For the past two weeks it's been nothing but constant fighting between my sister, my mother and myself. There is a light at the end of the tunnel though. They'll be leaving for southern California in a few weeks, and I'll have the house to myself. I'll be spending the time sleeping, cruising the internet, and doing a few social engagements. I'm going to the ballet, a sock hop and a masked ball. My aunt doesn't have a date for any of them so I said I'd go with her. I'm going to the ballet in a suit, the sock hop dressed as a greaser and the masked ball in a tux as I don't own an evening dress and poodle skirts are just so not me. Besides, I look good in a suit.

Anyway, so while we're in San Francisco, I'll be catching up with some old friends, and since that's one of the cities we want to cover on the road trip this summer, I'll be scouting locations. So if you see me around, don't be afraid to come up and say hi. I'll be posting pictures on here from the city, as sort of a teaser for the kind of thing we'll be doing.

Also, I'm working to obtain a web camera so I can start doing video blogs. Sort of a precurser to our taped segments, and a way of saying "hello" to you guys!

It's getting late, and I should go to bed.

And we'll be putting up profiles and our pictures so that, when we are in the city, you'll know what we look like.
