San Francisco, part two (or is it three now?)

So, this is the fifth day of our San Francisco trip and honestly I'm kind of kicking myself right now. I've spent a little more than I should have, but it'll even out since Sunday I'm going home and I'm not exactly going to be spending a lot on the Greyhound ride (except for 5 dollars for food at Taco Bell). I'm not as worried as I should be to be honest.

Anyway, the trip has been pretty cool so far, but the downside is I've been alone most of the way. Duane's busy wth GDC so I've been exploring my favorite old haunts of San Francisco. So far I've been to Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach, Fisherman's Wharf/Ghirardelli (they're the same thing in my opinion since they're in the same general location) and so on so on so on.

Also went back to Isotope on Wednesday to pick up a copy of Umbrella Academy #5 (which was WICKED AWESOME!) and got to talk to James Sime, the owner of the place. He's a bit eccentric but he's very nice and I like him and Storm a lot, along with the girl Keira. They're going to an event at Amnesia tonight, some kind of circus type sideshowwith sword swallowers and such. I'm not sure if we're going yet but it would be cool. I'm also supposed to go to dinner at a friend's house today. We'll see what happens.

I'm pretty bushed from the trip, and it doesn't help that the room we were booked into happens to be one of the few that's unrennovated. The beds are uncomfortable as hell and it's annoying me and Duane. He's pretty much always tired because they're working him really hard at the GDC, and I'm hoping that he'll be alright.

I also discovered the video function on my camera, so I've been having some fun with that. I don't know if I'll be uploading any of the videos online as they're kind of stupid, but I might. Live in fear!

I'm going to wrap this up. I need coffee in the WORST way!

Aliro.

PS. One of my birthday gifts from Lela and Arika was a pint glass from the Kona Club in Oakland. It came with four plastic mermaids in red, yellow, blue and green. I don't know what I'm going to do with them but they're pretty neat.
