This is in reference for three things.

1. Julien-K is FINALLY releasing their album Death To Analog next month on March 10th.  It was supposed to be released on February 17th, but it got pushed back to March because, well, Julien-K seems to be one of those Murphy's Law bands.  Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.  I tell you, if the album ends up sucking (which I doubt since the music that's come out so far is amazingly awesome) I'm going to kick someone.

2.  The GDC is next month (really only a couple weeks now!) and Duane and I will be meeting up to plot further and generally hang out.  Not to mention see if we can stomach sharing closed quarters for longs periods of time.  Seeing as how I shouldn't be a Hormonal Mona by then, it should be fairly okay.  Not to mention it'll be before my surgery so I'll be buzzing on painkillers the whole time.  I'm completely sweet on drugs (ie. perscription medication) so I might go easy on Duane.  Well, I promise I won't kill him at any rate.   Anyway, while he's busy at the con, I'll be wandering around the city (as I said in my last entry) and looking for interesting sights, sounds, smells and alien abductions around the city.

3.  During the conference, I'm going to be 25 on the 24th of March.  Duane has said he's taking me out for my birthday (on Saturday though since he'll be busy that night) and on Tuesday I'll catch the BART out to Oakland and hang out with some old friends of mine.  It'll be neat I think.

As it is, I might not be able to stay for the whole trip, since I'm not feeling all that great.  I was hoping I'd get that hysterectomy by now, but it looks like they really want to hold off until after my 25th birthday.  Damn their reluctance, and the fact that I am fresh out of opportunities to make babies.  Which is actually why they're reluctant.  Meh, stupid laws.

Anyway, I'm going to go off and bother the family now.  Don't be shy, shoot me an e-mail!  Really, don't be shy, I'm bored half to death and I'd like to talk to someone.
